What does our Naloxone training consist of?

Trainings usually take between 30-45 minutes and include the following: what opioids and fentanyl are, how they are impacting our community, how to recognize an opioid overdose, how to administer Naloxone, harm reduction, and other local resources available.

They are provided to anyone upon request, including organizations, community groups, families, and even individuals. Presentations are both done remotely through Zoom or in person, and are scheduled upon request!

Email us at info@sacopioidocoalition.org if you're interested in scheduling a training!

Our Naloxone Kits

Our Naloxone kits contain the following:

  1. Generic Naloxone box with 2 doses inside
  2. CPR face shield - acts as a barrier between you and the victim's mouth and nose, with a one way valve that allows air to flow only from you to the victim (minimizing the risk of cross contamination)
  3. Moist towelettes
  4. Information about the Sacramento County Opioid Coalition, local treatment resources, and naloxone
