Gone Too Soon

Gone too Soon is a poster memorial project to those who have lost their loved ones to opioids.

Beginning in 2022, Gone too Soon displays a series of poster-size photos of those lost to opioid overdose and fentanyl poisoning. We are humanizing the statistics by offering a look at the faces of community members and showing the great losses we have faced, both together and apart.

The posters are shared in partnership with Arrive Alive California and Sacramento County Department of Health Services (DHS).

    Drugs Take Good People.

Our intention with displaying these photos is to educate and heal our community. Each poster is treated and stored with respect. The personal qualities shared invite us to glimpse into a part of their personality and what they liked to do (i.e. creative, intelligent, artist)

    Posters and faces are shared:

    • On our website
    • In-person community events
    • Social Media
    • Videos
    • Middle and high schools

We would be honored to have support from you and your loved ones in increasing awareness on the dangers of opioids and in the possibility of preventing future losses.
